Performance Management: Monitors and evaluates staff performance to ensure alignment with ministry objectives.
Welfare and Benefits: Administers staff welfare initiatives, including health insurance, pension schemes, and other benefits.
Discipline and Grievance Handling: Manages disciplinary actions and resolves staff grievances to maintain a harmonious workplace.
Record Keeping: Maintains accurate personnel records and ensures compliance with government regulations.
The Human Resource Management Department
The Human Resource Management (HRM) Department of the Bayelsa State Ministry of Transport, located in Ovom,Yenagoa, is responsible for managing the human capital needs of the Ministry to support its mission of implementing transport policies for the state. The department ensures effective workforce management to facilitate the delivery of safe, efficient, and sustainable transportation services across Bayelsa State in line with Assured Prosperity Agenda of the Sen. Douye Diri Admnistration
Mr EBEREDE KENNEDY
Mr Eberede Kennedy, was born on the 2nd of February, 1974 in Ekeremor Community in Ekeremor Local Government Area of Bayelsa State. He had his Primary and Secondary education in Ekeremor and moved to Yenagoa in 1999 after securing a job in the State Civil Service in Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources as a Clerical Officer on salary grade level 04.
He rose through the ranks to the position of Chief Administrative Officer & he is currently the Head of Human Resources Management Department in the Ministry.
He is married with three (3) children .
